Harry Styles's Saturday Night Live episode this past weekend was chock-full of memes and food references. He not only played an intern who thought it was a good idea to buy every chicken sandwich from a Popeyes during lunch rush, but he also played a social media manager for Sara Lee bread.

The premise of this sketch was that Harry's character, Dylan, kept mixing up his personal Instagram account with the brand's, which his bosses discovered when raunchy comments were being left on photos from the @saraleebread username. "Why did Sara Lee comment on this picture of Nick Jonas saying 'wreck me daddy' and then comment again a month later with 'destroy me king?'" said Cecily Strong, who played one of his bosses.

The intern was mixing up captions between his personal account and the Sara Lee account as well. "It's 8 a.m. and I have to go to my hell job at sara lee. A little in my head after another threesome," he wrote on a picture he posted to Sara Lee's Insta.

Obviously, this skit gave the iconic bread brand some unexpected publicity. Harry Styles fans started quoting the skit in the comments section of Sara Lee's actual Instagram posts. One Twitter user compiled just a few of the comments that were left on the innocent bread's account.

In a statement given to the New York Post, a rep for Bimbo Bakeries USA, the company that owns Sara Lee, said, “We didn’t participate in creating the skit and its content doesn’t align with Sara Lee Bread’s brand. But, we all know SNL pushes the envelope for laughs and we are taking it in stride.”

Bowen Yang, who acted in and wrote the skit, took to Twitter to confirm that Sara Lee didn't have any say in the skit. He tweeted, "Me and prodigal son @juliothesquare made Mz. @Harry_Styles say queer nonsense. Very very very sorry to everyone at @SaraLeeDesserts."

Any publicity is good publicity, right?! Anyway, have you tried Sara Lee's pound cake? That stuff's almost as good as a Harry Styles SNL takeover. Almost.
