As the weather has gotten colder, you've probably noticed your taste in food changing a bit. Like, instead of craving hot dogs, hamburgers, and margaritas, you're craving chili, freshly baked bread, and...well, nope, actually still margaritas. Funny how that works. Still, if you're in the mood for something comforting, White Castle has you covered: The chain is bringing back its beloved Sloppy Joe Sliders and other warm and cozy bites in honor of the colder weather.
First up, are the aforementioned Sloppy Joe Sliders. White Castle describes these as lean ground beef mixed with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers, with a "sweet, tangy sauce," (it's unclear what Sloppy Joe Sauce is, the world may never know) and cheddar cheese on a slider bun. The best part? They're just 99 cents each, so it's OK if you have like, I dunno, five?
Next up are the Corn Dog Nibblers, which are essentially what they sound like. They're mini corn dogs! They're adorable! I love them! Finally, Mac & Cheese Nibblers are coming to the menu. They're made up of mac and cheese which is dipped in batter and deep fried. Think of it as the perfect portable comfort food when you're on a road trip home for the holidays.
It's unclear exactly how long these will be sticking around, though White Castle noted in its release that the chain likes to brings these back in the fall and winter months. So you should have plenty of time to enjoy them before it's finally warm outside again.
