There are a few things we can count on every Christmas season: Everything will be flavored in peppermint and hot cocoa, our parents will ask when we're finally getting engaged, and we'll see the return of Merry Mash-up, Mountain Dew's holiday drink.

You may remember this drink from last year when the company first introduced it, but if you've never tried it, it's essentially a cranberry/pomegranate-flavored Mountain Dew, AKA delicious. It was a huge hit last year, probably because it's essentially the perfect mixer for holiday cocktails, and good news, it's already being spotted in stores again this year.

Instagrammer @Candyhunting posted a photo of Merry Mash-up Bottles in the check-out fridges at Target. This won't come as too big of a surprise to many devoted Dew fans who spotted the drink in a photo earlier this year.

This is just the latest in Mountain Dew news; if haven't noticed, the brand has been BUSY lately. First, it was the release of a spooky, mystery Halloween flavor (which turned out to be candy corn?) called VooDew. Next, people totally freaked out over pineapple-flavored Maui Burst Mountain Dew. Recently, rumors that a peach-flavored Happy Dew Year soda will be coming in late December rocked the internet. There's a lot happening here.

It's unclear if Merry Mash-up will be available at other retailers and in cans or larger bottles, but we'll update this post if we hear anything further from Mountain Dew. In the meantime, get thee to Target and start cracking 'em open. It's never too early.
