Halloween is here! That means today you get to dress up, eat candy, and watch Ellen Degeneres's annual haunted house video. It's tradition that Ellen sends her executive producer Andy to take on a haunted house with a celebrity by his side. This year, Andy had Tiffany Haddish to protect him.
The two went through the haunted house based on Jordan Peele's movie Us at Universal Studios Hollywood. If you haven't seen the movie, it centers around a family that gets terrorized by their doppelgängers. The doppelgängers wear red jumpsuits and sometimes wear masks, so the haunted house had people in similar outfits popping out from every corner.
Andy seems calm and collected before entering, saying that Tiffany is the one that's a bit jumpy. "It's not that I'm jumpy, I'm protecting myself!" Tiffany says. Welllll, that didn't exactly hold true once they went inside.
Andy is pretty much an expert at this point, having gone through haunted houses with celebrities like Chrissy Teigen, Ariana Grande, and Sarah Paulson over the years. He explains to Tiffany that haunted houses have a lot of decoys and distractions, and when they come across the first group of red outfitted mannequins he assures her they aren't real...but about two seconds later one jumps out at them and they both completely lose their cool and it's hilarious to watch.
Do I feel guilty for laughing at them? Nah. Am I happy it's not me in that haunted house? Abso-freakin'-lutely.
