Ned LeDoux and his family are reeling after the death of his two-year-old daughter, Haven. The country singer and his wife Morgan shared a statement about the tragic news on Facebook.
“It is with great sadness that Ned & Morgan inform friends and fans that their two year old daughter Haven passed away on October 20th due to a tragic choking accident in the home. The LeDoux family appreciates your love and support and is requesting privacy at this time,” they wrote.
According to People and Taste of Country, the original post also mentioned “paramedics were called to the family’s northeast Kansas home on October 20th and arrived quickly, but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.”
Ned and Morgan celebrated Haven’s second birthday on September 15. At the time, Ned wrote he was “happy to be home for this special day” and called Haven a “character.”
Ned is the son of late country star and rodeo champion, Chris LeDoux. The 42-year-old is known for songs like “Brother Highway” and “Some People Do.” According to his Facebook, he has planned to release his new album Next in Line on November 8.
Morgan and Ned celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in May, and are also parents to their son, Branson. Ned has not issued any further updates outside of his initial statement.
