Back in July, Dunkin' announced they were launching Beyond Meat breakfast sandwiches. At the time, they were only available in Manhattan Dunkin' locations, but fear not, because this vegetarian breakfast option is finally going nationwide, according to CNN.

The nationwide launch, which wasn't supposed to be for another two months, was pushed forward due to the success of the summer pilot. The Beyond Meat breakfast sandwich quickly became the second best-selling item in Manhattan Dunkin' locations, reported the outlet. It came second to the classic Dunkin' bacon, egg, and cheese bagel.

The new sandwich features a Bey0nd Meat sausage patty, an egg, a slice of American cheese on an English muffin. The plant-based patty packs about 10 grams of protein. It's really no surprise the new sandwich was such a hit.

Founder and CEO of Beyond Meat Ethan Brown said during the initial launch that this partnership is a huge step for the integration of plant-based meat into customer's daily lives. He said in a statement:

Dunkin' is truly an iconic brand and part of the fabric of so many communities. Partnering with them as the first U.S. restaurant chain to serve Beyond Breakfast Sausage represents not only an exciting moment for both of our companies, but a big step forward in making plant-based meat accessible and easy to enjoy, even while on-the-go.

Since the Beyond Meat and Dunkin' collaboration back in July, other iconic brands like McDonald's and KFC have launched plant-based versions of their iconic meals. The Beyond Meat breakfast sandwich will start rolling out in Dunkin' locations across the nation starting November 6.
