If you've tried to get your hands on a bag of Trader Joe's cauliflower gnocchi, you know that it can be a particularly frustrating experience. Somehow there is never enough in stock to feed the demand of those of trying to cut carbs. But now, Green Giant is getting into the cauliflower gnocchi game, which means your endless gnocchi-related struggles may soon be coming to an end.
The frozen veggie brand just announced its fall 2019 line-up, and cauliflower gnocchi is basically the star of the show. Green Giant's cauliflower gnocchi is made with more than 40% cauliflower and no potato, which, as an avid gnocchi maker, has me shook. Unlike Trader Joe's version, Green Giant's cauliflower gnocchi comes in two different types: original and cauliflower and spinach, which sounds like it could make an even easier meal.
You won't have to wait long to get your hands on a bag of this stuff: It hits shelves this month and will cost you around $3.99 per bag. Time to start dreaming up fall gnocchi recipes.
While you're keeping your eyes peeled for the gnocchi, Green Giant also has a few other cauliflower creations you can try, including pre-topped cauliflower pizzas.
There's also frozen riced cauliflower stuffing, which is a godsend as you'll never have to break out the food processor again. They even have veggie hash browns using zero potatoes because I guess low carb is the future, friends. I'll miss you, potatoes!
