In a press release on Wednesday, Ina Garten confirmed she'd teamed up with a division of Macmillan to publish her first memoir. While Celadon Books confirmed to Delish there's no set release date for the book just yet, Ina seems to be thrilled about the forthcoming project.

“By finding a way to do what I love for a living–cooking–I’ve been fortunate to build a career that has not only been incredibly rewarding but has brought people together through the power of home cooking," Ina said. "I hope my book will inspire readers to find their own unique story.”

Until now, Ina has solely published cookbooks (11 of them, to be exact!). It's unclear what exactly prompted her to go the full-on memoir route after all these years, but Senior Vice President and Co-Publisher Deb Futter believes "[Ina's] memoir will cement her legacy in the cultural landscape." She continued: “Ina Garten is beloved by all, a national treasure who has become iconic beyond the food world."

It's also unclear if this will affect Ina's cookbook output—she typically publishes one every year-and-a-half or so, but here's hoping we see both a memoir and a Cook Like A Pro follow-up in 2020.

Meanwhile, there's not been any social media postings on the news from the Gartens just yet. When we last checked in with them, Ina was making Rosh Hashanah cakes and Jeffrey, well, Jeffrey still hadn't posted anything on Instagram.

Goals all around, honestly.
