Who doesn't love a classic Hostess treat? Twinkies? Iconic. CupCakes? A delight. But two new pastries are on their way to give the OGs a true run for their money. It looks like Triple Chocolate Brownies and Cream Cheese Coffee Cakes will be coming to shelves near you soon.
Instagrammer @Markie_devo first reported on the news of this upcoming treats. Before you get too excited, let's break each one of them down. First up? Triple Chocolate Brownies are "made with REAL chocolate in three unique places, and has delightful chocolate inclusions in every bite," Hostess told Delish. Yes, these are chocolate brownies with chocolate chips inside and with chocolate icing on top. Could that get any better? Uh, I don't think so!
Next up are the Cream Cheese Coffee Cakes. These guys are made with cream cheese swirled into a buttery coffee cake base to make them rich and delicious and great with, I dunno, coffee?! Ever heard of it? Now, there is zero need to put cream cheese on top of your coffee cake unless you want even more cream cheese flavor. Now there's an idea.
Both of these retail for about $1.99, Hostess also mentioned to us. Though you're probably pretty excited right about now (understandable!), you'll have plenty of time to keep dreaming about them because they won't be available until December.
Guess you'll just have to keep enjoying seasonal treats like Pumpkin Spice Twinkies, Pumpkin CupCakes, Chocolate Twinkies, and Glo Balls this fall. Something tells me you should be just fine!
