KFC wants to celebrate your love by paying for a chicken-themed wedding. And somehow this isn't a joke. According to the chain, they're throwing six lucky couples a Kentucky fried reception with decorations, a photo booth, and a lot of food.
"If you can’t think of anything more romantic than sharing a bucket of the Colonel's finest with your one true love, then get ready to say Bucket. Why not? to a KFC Wedding," the site reads. The opportunity is open for couples marrying in May 2020 and promises "finger lickin' good memories." What more could you want?
The wedding package also includes KFC-themed music entertainment (...someone lmk what that means), custom KFC buckets, and a ceremony officiant. I'm not saying it's the Colonel, but it's gotta be...right? Catering costs are covered for up to 200 guests, but invitations, venue, transportation, and alcohol are on you. It's also, unfortunately, limited to residents of Australia. Should we move?
"KFC Weddings is our response to all the couples we’ve heard of who have popped the question in one of our restaurants or who have created their own version of a KFC Wedding," the site continues: "We’ve seen everything from KFC banquets to chicken bouquets. And with so many people wanting us to be part of their big day we just had to create KFC Weddings as a service for all couples ready to tie the knot."
So how do you apply? Just fill out the form before October 18 and let KFC know why you're craving a chicken-themed ceremony. Easy.
