Pumpkin spice gets pretty much all the love in the fall, so it can be easy to forgot that there are so many other autumnal flavors to get jazzed about: apples! bourbon! apples and bourbon! Luckily, Denny's has come in clutch with some bourbon- (and apple!) infused foods to get you ready for cooler weather.
No matter if you want breakfast, lunch, brunch, or all of the above, you can get in on the bourbon train. You can start off with the Apple Bourbon Pancake Breakfast, which is two pancakes made with flaxseeds, cinnamon and brown sugar, and topped with caramel apple walnut bourbon sauce that you can get served alongside eggs, hash browns, and your choice of two strips of bacon or sausage links. If you're really feeling in the fall mood, you can swap out the pancakes for PUMPKIN pancakes. Gettin' crazy over here.
Also new this year is the Apple Bourbon Crepe Breakfast which is a crepe topped with ice cream and apple walnut bourbon sauce that you can get as part of a bigger breakfast or on its own. Or both! Why not both?
For dinner, Denny's is offering two old bourbon favorites: the Bourbon Bacon Burger, which comes inside of a CHEDDAR BUN and a Bourbon Chicken Sizzlin' Skillet. All the bourbon favorites are already on menus now for what Denny's calls "a limited time."
This fall also marks the return of the Super Slam at Denny's where you can score two eggs, two bacon strips, two sausage links, hash browns and two buttermilk pancakes for $5.99. And yes, you can make those pumpkin pancakes. Just don't tell the people who prefer apple bourbon.
