It's no secret that literally everything is better when made into a Blizzard from Dairy Queen. While regular old pumpkin pie will always have a place in our hearts, there is nothing like a Pumpkin Pie Blizzard. And it's official — it's on its way back, baby.

The iconic fall treat is coming back just in time for the spooky season...like really in time. It's dropping August 26, aka before Labor Day, aka before summer is even over. That drop date is a lot earlier than it was last year, which was September 3, but hey, who's complaining?

If you haven't snagged one of these blizzards in all of its more than 20-year history or you just need a little refresher, it's made with classic Dairy Queen soft serve blended with pieces of pumpkin pie and finished off with a topping of whipped cream and some nutmeg. Just like a real slice of pumpkin pie, but colder and dare I say, better?

You can pick one up in mini, small, medium, or large and as always, it's best to call ahead to make sure that the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is available at your local DQ before you go in ready to enjoy one on its launch date.

With this and the rumored August return of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, it's worth asking; should we just bump fall up to the middle of August? Seems like we've all moved on already. The calendar should get on board.
