It's no secret that quite a few of us are ready for this whole summer thing to be over. And although soon we'll be embracing all things warm and delicious, a sighting of a new McDonald's McFlurry may bring the warm flavors of fall baking to your summer ice cream.
YouTuber Ian K of "Peep This Out" did some sleuthing and found a McDonald's in Southern California that is selling Snickerdoodle McFlurries. This is a cookies and cream variation I can truly get behind.
Ian explained in his video that the McFlurry is full of vanilla ice cream, sugar cookie pieces, and bits of cinnamon. He gave the treat rave reviews, saying that there was so much cinnamon-y goodness inside that it was almost overpowering. Just a word of warning: Only watch the review if you want to be seriously jealous this hasn't been rolled out everywhere yet.
On that note, it's not clear if and when you can get your paws on this Snickerdoodle McFlurry anytime soon at a McDonald's near you. We reached out to McDonald's to see if they have any plans for a roll-out or if this is simply a test.
In the meantime, you can, of course, enjoy the classic Oreo and M&M flavors, as well as the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the international menu for the rest of the summer. Or you can catch me dipping homemade snickerdoodles in vanilla ice cream because honestly, this idea is genius.
