Even though it is about 1,000 degrees right about now and definitely still summer, before you can say snowflake, it's going to be the holidays. And in one of the first of what will likely be many, many holiday food and drink releases comes Winter Spice Cranberry Sprite.
The new, limited-edition flavor appears to be coming for holiday season 2019 and was first spotted on Instagram by @CandyHunting. A quick Google search also showed that it's already appearing on grocery delivery sites like Instacart, too.
Eagle-eyed fans pointed out in the comments of CandyHunting's Instagram that Sprite has come out with cranberry-flavored Sprite for the holidays before (who could forget this commercial featuring a claymation LeBron James?), but this one appears to be different. Because it's #WinterSpice. Whatever that means!
Either way, Winter Spice Cranberry Sprite sounds like it's perfect to add to your favorite holiday punch or, honestly, like it's about two thirds away from being a complete wintery cocktail all in itself. Just add liquor and voila, it can be a quick fix for a stressful time of the year when even making a fancy cocktail can be just a little bit too much work.
So, as soon as these get on shelves, you can catch me by the fire, spiking a can of Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite, watching "Love Actually" for the millionth time, and feeling the holiday "spirit," if you know what I mean.
