Earlier this year, the beer you 100 percent drank at some point in college dipped its toe in the not-beer-beer waters with a Strawberry Lemonade Natural Light brew called "Naturdays." Today, Anheuser-Busch, its parent company, jumped in the pool and announced Natural Light Seltzer.
"The seltzer you never saw coming," as the brand dubbed it, comes in two hilariously on-brand flavors: Catalina Lime Mixer and Aloha Beaches. The former is cherry- and lime-flavored while the latter tastes like a mix of mango and peach. Both have 6 percent ABV, making them slightly stronger than the other hard seltzers you've likely been sipping on this summer (White Claw and Truly contain 5 percent, Spiked Seltzer 4.5, and Henry's 4.2).
The new flavors launched nationally today, which means you can find them at your local liquor store in 12-packs, 24-packs, and 25-ounce single serve cans (a tall boy, if you will).
If you're looking to drink but not pay, start crafting your tweets. Per a press release, the company is giving away 10 cases each to 100 winners. All you have to do is tweet why your party needs more flavor between August 13 and September 8 and include the hashtags #NattySeltzer and #Sweepstakes for a chance to win. The only rule: You have to be over 21 to win, doy.
For anyone not so into the bubbles, but into canned booze, here are 19 canned cocktails also in existence. You're welcome.
