In September 2018, Dunkin' Donut announced plans to drop the latter half of its name and rebrand as just...Dunkin'. But now, less than a year since the big reveal, the brand is looking to shake things up again. A handful of store locations are undergoing a name change in honor of the fall menu launch.

On Wednesday, August 14, select Dunkin's are offering an early taste of their seasonal selection, except the signage will look *a bit* different. For the one-day event, they're reinventing eight stores as "Pumpkin'." It's not just a cute Instagram stunt, either. The first 250 guests will score a free small hot or iced Pumpkin Coffee. There will also be a "limited quantity" of Dunkin's new pumpkin-scented MUNCHKINS lip balm.

Dunkin' is waiting to release the full list of participating locations because, apparently, they're having way too much fun teasing us. But here's a hint: The cities spell out P-U-M-P-K-I-N-'. And while they've revealed three of the eight—Boston; New York; and Indian Trail, NC; and Kissimmee, FL, are confirmed. (For some reason, Dunkin' has decided Boston represents an apostrophe—we don't get it, either.) We'll be refreshing IG until we've got the rest.

If the promo event is this good, the menu's gotta be worth celebrating, right? RIGHT. While we can expect Pumpkin-flavored coffee, donuts, and muffins to make a triumphant return, we've also got a few rookies on the roster, too. The Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Signature Latte, Apple Cider Donut, and Apple Cider MUNCHKINS are all landing in stores August 24.
