If, for whatever reason, you don't feel like going to Chick-fil-A—or it happens to be Sunday and you simply cannot—Sam's Club has your back. Last year, the big box store brought Southern Style Chicken Bites to stores, and fans FREAKED OUT about the crazy similarity in taste between Sam's Club's version and the fast food restaurant's. We tried them and can confirm they are, in fact, just as delicious.
To follow up on that success, the store now sells frozen waffle fries and southern style chicken sandwiches so you can make your own Chick-fil-A favorites at home. It's a goooood day to be a Sam's Club member.
Here's what you need to know about the new products: Both the chicken sandwich and fries are exclusive to Sam’s Club and are now available in clubs nationwide and online, if you prefer to do your shopping that way (the nuggets are still in stores, too!). Price-wise, they're a steal: A four-pound pack of fries costs $4.98. They do take a bit of patience, though—you can heat them up in the oven in 30 minutes or in an air fryer in 15.
The sandwiches come in a 10-pack for $15.98, making each one $1.60. Sam's Club really went all in to recreate the fast food favorites. They use "dilly-flavored breaded chicken and a soft butter bun." You'll have to add the pickles yourself, but aside from that, they seem like a dead ringer. The sandwiches are meant to be heated up in the microwave and are ready in 90 seconds.
While we haven't tried the new products yet, the reviews are promising: One shopper called the sandwich a "GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO CHIC-FIL-A!!!!" while another said the fries are "Like Chic Fil A, only better cuz they’re not dried out." If you try them, let us know what you think!
