If you’re an amusement park junkie, you’re seriously going to want to listen up: Universal Orlando announced via Twitter that a new theme park is in the works. The name? Epic Universe. DUN DUN DUN...

We've got to assume the rides, the experiences, and, most importantly, the restaurants are going to be, well, pretty freakin’ epic. Bring on the funnel cake and fried eats, because we’ve done some digging and can give you all the deets on what we know so far.

The new park will be the fourth in Universal Orlando’s Resort portfolio, joining Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay Water Theme Park. The 750-acre adult playground (I mean, that’s basically what this is…), is supposedly an “entirely new level of experience that forever changes theme park entertainment,” according to the press conference. Epic Universe will take an all-inclusive approach with hotels, rides, shops, and restaurants.

Hi, yes, paging whomever is in charge. MORE. DETAILS. PLEASE.

Alas, the specifics remain foggy. The “historic” park guarantees “experiences beyond your wildest imagination” and a completely “immersive and innovative” adventure, but everything else is pretty much TBD. The park will definitely feature some large-scale storylines and characters but you—along with the rest of the Twitter-verse—are just going to have to keep guessing.

However, @UniversalORLdid release the concept art for the newest theme park and it has basically led the guessing charade. Taking into consideration the bodies of water, fountains, and buildings, Twitter users have drafted up some very interesting proposals.

A common guess: Nintendo World.

Other fans are convinced that a Fortnight IRL world awaits them.

We’ll just have to hang around for confirmation, but no matter what, we can confidently say that we are seriously excited. Florida, here we come.
