That classic Baileys Irish Cream and coffee combo we all know and love? Well, it's now packaged in a convenient little can for on-the-go caffeinating. According to social media's fav snack source @CandyHunting, the brand has unveiled its epic new cold brew coffee in two flavors. Consider my morning Starbucks order cancelled.
The 11-ounce cans, which are currently available in stores (there's already been a spotting at Meijer!) and on Amazon, come in Irish Cream and Salted Caramel flavors. Two worthy options if you ask me.
Oh, and they're made with 100 percent Arabica coffee. Full disclosure, I had no clue what that meant, but a quick google search revealed it as the "most valuable species of coffee plant." I'm no barista, but sounds like the good stuff to me.
Instagram is pretty hyped over the launch, too. "Yess Iām a big fan of Baileys and excited to try it š," one user commented. "I need to find this and try both," another added.
The news is slightly bittersweet though. Here's why: The cold brew cans are non-alcoholic. I know, a shocker coming from Baileys, a liqueur brand, but they're just trying to provide some variety here. Some people don't drink! Others want the caffeine kick for work, and, ya know, booze is sorta frowned upon in the office setting.
For those of you who do want that extra buzz, I've got the solution. Spike it! Or better yet, pick up a case of the brand's iced coffee lattes that have already got a 4 percent ABV.
