Remember that epic tequila train? Amazing, yes, but it's a one-day activity. And if I'm venturing to Mexico, I'm gonna need to pack in *a lot* more margaritas. Now a six-day tequila tour through Puerta Vallarta and the birthplace of our fav booze, appropriately called Tequila, sounds like my kind of agenda.

The Te Amo Tequila tour, hosted by vacation site CheapCaribbean, will walk guests through the distilling process. You'll get to explore the city's "vast tequila offerings," which is just code for get drunk fyi, and sleep in actual tequila barrels. The itinerary also includes a food and drink tour in Downtown Vallarta, a tasting, horseback riding, and more.

The entire experience is led by Jay Schroeder, aka the Agave Whisperer. "You get behind-the-scenes access to the world of tequila from someone who lives and breathes the drink," the site reads. "Shroeder is the author of the book 'Understanding Mezcal' and was the chief mixologist for celebrity chef Rick Bayless.

The accommodations sound pretty luxe, too. The resort, Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta, is an all-inclusive 5-star hotel with an infinity pool, all you can eat food, and a limitless flow of booze.

Guess I'm buying myself a National Tequila Day present.
