While John Mayer's video was insanely amazing, we kinda think Mariah Carey won the challenge. Instead of attempting a kick, the pop star let out an extremely high-pitched note that sent the cap flying off the bottle. Fans and fellow celebs, including ex-husband Nick Canon, Rita Ora, Katherine McPhee, and Jordan Sparks, are praising the singer for her hilarious "attempt." And we are here for it. Honestly, it's time everyone else gave it a rest.

Another internet challenge is sweeping Instagram, and it just might top Drake's "In My Feelings" battle. While there doesn't seem to be any sort of charitable aspect to it, à la the ice bucket challenge of 2014, it is MESMERIZING to watch—both the successes and the flat-on-their-back failures (Andrew Zimmern, you made my day).

The challenge involves kicking a bottle cap clean off a bottle. It appears to have been started six days ago by Taekwondo champion and extremely fit individual Farabi Davletchin, who posted a video of himself doing the #farakickschallenge (he's also skilled at kicking the tips off pencils, in case you were wondering). Faribi nominated Jason Statham and Jackie Chan, and from there, the challenge has spread.

So far, the best ones come from John Mayer, who surprisingly KILLS IT. I've watched the video no fewer than seven times, and it amazes me each and every time. Shawn Mendes is on the same page, commenting "I actually can’t believe this wow." Me neither Shawn, ME NEITHER.

Then, there's Andrew Zimmern. The chef and travel host didn't quite nail it, but...he sure as hell tried. He DID slice an orange in half in mid-air, proving we all have different strengths. And don't worry—the Potash Twins account commented "PSA: No Celebrity Chefs were harmed in the making of this film."

Anywho, we'll be trolling the web for more renditions to come—Diplo threw himself into the mix and nominated Barack Obama and Meghan Markle, so uh, I'm sure those are coming soon!!!
