If you were planning on visiting Taco Bell's pop-up hotel and resort, The Bell, this summer, hopefully you nabbed a room already—reservations for the vacation spot sold out in a wild TWO MINUTES, the L.A. Times reports.
The pop-up is open for just four days this August, with 70-plus rooms already booked. Taco Bell is taking over the V Palm Springs for the event, decking out the property with Taco Bell-themed everything: pool floats, hot sauce room keys, a Baja Blast-inspired Freeze Lounge, and more.
Those who did secure a room will be treated to a different entertainment line-up each day, as well as plenty of food and beverages both new and familiar. Taco Bell representatives have said there will be brand-new items tested at The Bell, some of which could make their way to Taco Bell restaurants nationwide after the pop-up. Besides lounging by the pool or in their rooms, visitors can also get their hair or nails done at the salon and purchase Taco Bell swag in the gift shop.
Of the crazy-fast booking process, Taco Bell's Global Chief Brand Officer Marisa Thalberg said this:
Taco Bell fans are truly one of a kind, and today was one of the best expressions of that fandom yet. The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort officially sold out in just 2 minutes. We would like to extend a big 'thank you' for those who have come along on this journey with us and even though The Bell is sold out, we’ll have more to share on exclusive merchandise, food and more in the coming weeks so those unable to score a room can still experience the fun from home.
