Chicago's iconic Navy Pier has welcomed a new buzzed about rooftop bar, Offshore. And it's not just those impressive Lake Michigan views and boozy juice boxes that got our attention. (Though, yeah, those are pretty great, too.) The Guinness Book of World Record's has dubbed it the largest rooftop deck, like, ever.

"After submitting substantial amounts of evidence to Guinness World Records for review and completing a full independent verification of the measurements, I am ready to announce the official results," adjudicator Christina Flounders-Conlon said at the restaurant's official opening Thursday. "The required minimum to set this new record title is 35,520.90 square feet...With a confirmed area today of 52,310.29 square feet, you have set the Guinness World Record title for 'largest rooftop bar.'"

...That's like a 100,000 times bigger than my apartment. Casual.

According to Food & Wine, The football field-sized rooftop can hold approximately 1,000 guests and features an expansive indoor space with a fully retractable "barrel-vaulted roof and an operable glass enclosure." The 20,000-square-foot terrace? It's got cozy outdoor seating, seven fire pits, and a custom 450-square-foot planter. There's also a stage for live performances and two private lawns.

The Offshore menu was crafted by Executive Chef Michael Shrader and includes "seasonal" and "modern" American fare served as small plates. The bar's boozy innovations, which will rotate seasonally, were created by Clay Livingston. The selection touts "playful house made craft cocktails, wine, champagne, and strong local craft beer."
