This week, Rosanna Pansino of YouTube's Nerdy Nummies was rushed to the emergency room following a visit to urgent care for a "crazy fever and intense pains," she shared with her longtime fans and subscribers on social media.
After several tests, which included a CT scan, ER doctors diagnosed her with a serious, possibly life-threatening bacterial infection. Thankfully, she's on the up-and-up. Following said tests, the Nerdy Nummies star let her nearly one million Twitter followers know that what happened to her—scarily enough—could have happened to anyone. She contracted a rare and aggressive bacteria, which she could have gotten anywhere. *Shivers*
Though doctors told Rosanna it could absolutely happen to anyone, don't worry too much! You can rest assured it's not common by any means. While she is expected to get well soon, doctors have her on bedrest for at least the next week to fully recover and allow any internal swelling to go down.
Despite her health scare, Rosanna still promised her subscribers that a new video would be out shortly anyway. Viewers, on the other hand, insisted that she focus on herself during this time because, of course, they'd wait for her—as any caring fans would. Since her community has proven to be so wonderful in the difficult times—there has been a continued outpouring of messages wishing her well—Rosanna shared her gratitude, and said "thank you" across all of her social channels.
