ICYMI, Wendy's is bringing back a fan favorite menu item this August: the beloved Spicy Chicken Nugget. While Chance the Rapper is largely to thank for this development, he has a lot of other ish going on, like a new album coming out in July, so he's yet to comment on it. Wendy's fans, however, are veryyyy excited to have these hot nuggets back in their lives—and they are more than happy to express their thoughts about it.

Luckily for anyone who needs a good laugh, the social media team running Wendy's Twitter account is as savage as ever, ruthlessly responding to the Twitter users who are 1) complaining, 2) not up to speed, or 3) trolling.

Before we get into the best reactions to this nugget revival, a few key facts: Spicy chicken nuggets return to Wendy's locations nationwide August 19. Why not sooner? "Because we didn't even have them. We are a national restaurant chain." Love, Wendy's.

The fast food chain hasn't yet confirmed whether these will be a limited-edition release, à la the nacho fries, or a permanent addition to the menu. However, per Wendy's Twitter, it "could potentially be longer if we sell enough of them." Fingers crossed. Some other things we've learned from Wendy's:

Don't hate on them for the delay.

If you want them to stay, buy them!

They're, uh, not afraid to trash Burger King.

People are amped!

There you have it, folks. You're not the only one jazzed about the nuggets' return!

In other Wendy's news, the fast food chain's BBQ sauce has seemingly changed and people are NOT happy about it. Fans say the older, spicier version is better than the newer, sweeter recipe and are calling on Wendy's to go back to the old sauce. Personally, I'm team ranch, but if this nugget debacle has taught us anything, it's that tweeting at a fast food company can work, so...go forth! Air your grievances. The good people of Wendy's might just change the dang sauce back to the original.
