Gordon Ramsay announced his television project—formerly titled Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted Territory, now just Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted—nearly a year ago. And while there's been some major controversy (some are calling it a ripoff of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown), the series is set to premiere on National Geographic next month.

Oh, and the trailer is here! Touting the series as a "moveable feast," the 1 minute clip previews Ramsay's adventures: rock climbing, scaling a tree for fresh fruit, insulting a mule. You know, just an average day in the life.

According to National Geographic, "Gordon will embark on an anthropology-through-cuisine expedition to unearth the most incredible people, places, and flavors the world has to offer." But where exactly? For the first six episodes, the Hell's Kitchen host is heading to Alaska, Hawaii, Laos, Morocco, New Zealand, and Peru.

"It’s been an amazing journey traveling off the beaten path with National Geographic and connecting with locals to learn and share incredible stories of unique traditions, delicacies and the extreme lengths it takes to harvest native ingredients," Ramsay said in a statement. "I've learned way more filming this series than I have in the last 10 years."

Also, looks like there's a lot less screaming and "idiot sandwich" insults than his other projects. Well, except for the whole mule incident.

The premiere "Peru's Sacred Valley" kicks off with Ramsay "hanging off a cliff in pursuit of cactus worms—a delicacy in Peru." From there, he'll venture to New Zealand for eel hunting, explore Morocco with local mushroom farmers, and so on.

Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted will debut July 21 at 10 p.m. E.T. on National Geographic.
