Personally, I don't discriminate when it comes to wine. Pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, merlot...I love it all. But most people tend to fall on one side or the other. You're a fan of red or white. According to Coravin, the folks behind that innovative a wine preservation opener, your answer actually says a lot about your personality.

After polling 2,000 Americans who average four glasses of wine per week, they found a number of discrepancies between those with opposing preferences. So what were the findings, exactly? Well for one, red wine drinkers spend around $40 per bottle, while white wine drinkers average about 37 bucks a bottle. I'm more of a $5 Target blend kind of gal myself, but to each her own.

That wasn't all they found. The report continues, noting those who prefer a pinot noir over a pinot grigio are 14 percent more likely to call themselves a "wine aficionado." And though it may seem a little snob-ish (sorry...but, also, not sorry), it's warranted. Red wine drinkers were more knowledgeable when asked the foll0w up q's.

The differences didn't end there. White wine drinkers are more likely to be late night, cat-owning extroverts that prefer punk music and identify as "curious, sarcastic perfectionists." While the red wine boozers among us are early birds, dog owners, and introverts. They're fans of jazz and Game of Thrones—weird combo, but go with it—and are often characterized as 'adventurous, humble, and organized."

But, like, where are the rosé drinkers in all of this?
