Little balls of fried cheese are always a good idea—take it from Burger King. The chain is testing Cheese Bites, which they describe as crispy, melty, and cheesy (duh). The only downside here? The Cheese Bites are currently just a market test in Texas, according to a Burger King spokesperson.

One Twitter user posted a photo of the Cheese Bites in the wild (aka Texas).

The new bites appear to be available as an 8-piece for $1.99 or a 20-piece for $3.99. Twenty cheese bites seems a bit excessive, but you do you, boo boo. I bet these would be really good dipped in ranch...

For those not in Texas, Burger King's fairly new Bacon Cheesy Tots are another cheesy side to consider. These guys are "melted cheese potato bites with smoky bacon bits, covered in a crunch bread crumb coating," per BK's website.

Let's hope that the Cheese Bites make it to menus outside of Texas. In the meantime, we're content with the sides we have available: Bacon Cheesy Tots, fries, onions rings, and hash browns.
