We're probably all guilty of recording our parents or grandparents from time to time, with the intention of sharing the video on social media (usually unbeknownst to our elders). TJ Musto, 25, took a video of his father, Tom Musto, who was absolutely delighted after his first-ever trip to Costco.
Between Tom's genuine excitement and enthusiasm about the deals he scored at Costco, and Tom being, well, really good looking, the video was a recipe for viral success. In the video, Tom has a huge grin as he shows off his purchases. There are cheap water bottles, jars of marinara, and $8 sausages, and anyone who watches the video is bound to smile at his excitement. He's like a little boy in a candy shop!
At the end of the video, Tom tells the people off camera that his friend Stephanie plans to buy him a "Costcos" card for his birthday. Costcos!!! So cute, I can't stand it. TJ told TODAY that Tom went to Costco to shop for their big Sunday dinner, and Stephanie suggested that they hit Costco.
"I got a call from him at the store, saying, 'Hey, so you ever hear of a place called Costco? It's incredible here!" TJ recalled, about a phone conversation he had with Tom. He spent $75, and reportedly saved about $30, according to TODAY. Many of the people who have interacted with the tweet have complimented Tom's appearance. TJ said the comments have had "quite an impact" on Tom, who is going through a divorce.
Here's a look at some of Tom's admirers!
And many more where that came from! Perhaps Costco should be hosting some sort of speed dating situation? Imagine meeting "the one" over Costco samples...now that is romantic.
