Brunch is not just a drunk activity, we promise—and so does Welch's. The juice distributor announced their latest product launch Thursday and it will put you in the mood to, well, not booze. Their new Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Mimosa has all the flavor of your favorite Saturday morning cocktail without the next-day repercussions. See ya, hangovers!
"Welch's sparkling juices are a staple at celebrations and gatherings across the country," senior brand manager John Walston said in a statement: "Last year we saw great success launching Welch's Non-Alcoholic Rosé, and we wanted to offer consumers a new occasion to enjoy your trendy bubbly refreshments; Mimosa opens for the breakfast occasion for us as the perfect addition to any brunch spread."
The 24.5-ounce bottles are made with USA-grown grapes and sweetened exclusively with fruit juice, which means there's no sugar added and only 80 calories per serving. Hitting Target stores and online April 7, the soon-to-be bestseller is priced at $3.19 and available permanently. So...yep, none of that limited-edition B.S.
While the Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Mimosas are a great alternative for non-drinkers, that's not to say you can't spike it yourself. If you're still looking for a little brunch time buzz, just mix in your own spirits.
The brand's equally delicious Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Rosé launched last April. And if the millennial pink mocktail or its new mimosa spin-off is any indication what's to come, our season will be filled with sweet sips.
