Gordon Ramsay was recently a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden and he definitely was not dressed for what his friend James had planned. It turns out that during Gordon's last appearance on the show he'd had tried to convince James to run the Los Angeles Marathon with him. It turns out James was still looking for vengeance.
The friends played a game called "Tread Lightly," which involved them controlling the others' treadmill speeds based on answers to trivia questions. They both ended up full-on running in their suits, resulting in a hilarious wardrobe malfunction for Gordon.
Actress Piper Perabo posed the questions for the men—James' questions were about cooking, and Gordon's were about James' self-proclaimed area of expertise: boy bands. If they got an answer correct, the incline went up for the other person. If they got one wrong, their speed went up. The video is 100 percent worth watching, as it just may have the most bleeped-out words of any 6 minute and 28 second segment I've ever seen.
First, Gordon was asked to name three Backstreet Boys. He said, "Malcom," (come on). James' first question was arguably easier: "What is the main ingredient in an omelet?" His answer was "eggs" and Gordon was NOT pleased: "What else is in a f*cking omelet?!"
Next, Piper asked Gordon to list the Jonas Brothers in order from youngest to oldest. He started off strong with Nick, but then said "OJ," which is...not the name of one of the brothers. Several questions in, James was moving quickly, but Gordon was sweating more than he probably had planned to on television. It's after he incorrectly said that Simon Cowell was the One Direction member who left the band that he reached back shouting, "I RIPPED MY F*CKING PANTS!"
A few questions and lots of cursing later, Gordon was d-o-n-e. Piper declared the competition a tie, which is probably not the case, but Gordon did rip his pants for this, so.
