If you've ever had a Klondike bar, then you already know the things are seriously delicious. There's something perfect about biting through an outer shell of chocolate into ice cream, no? It's a crunch texture and then a creamy one which yields several sweet flavors blending together.
In case you missed it, Klondike recently started making a mini version of the bar, which is absolutely perfect for the sweet treat craving we all get from time to time (or, you know, always). Klondike Minis are half the size of the original bars, but the exciting new news is that there are two new flavors now on the lineup: Double Chocolate and Mint Chocolate.
The mini Double Chocolate Klondike bar is made with double chocolate ice cream and coated in a thick, chocolatey shell, according to a press release. The bars are also just 120 calories a piece! The Mint Chocolate flavor is made with creamy mint ice cream and a dark chocolate coating. The Minis also come in Original (with vanilla ice cream) and Reese's.
Each box comes with 12 mini bars, which, in theory, is fantastic to manage portion control and whatnot, but let's be real here—you'd wanna eat at least two-to-five of these.
Here's another fun Klondike fact: The milk and cream used in the bars comes from American cows that are not treated with artificial growth hormones. The more you know!
The new Mini Double Chocolate and Mini Mint Chocolate bars will hit shelves at grocery stores nationwide beginning this month, for a suggested price of $5.29. Note to self—hit freezer aisle ASAP!
