Next time a sweet and salty craving hits, you'll want to have Enlightened's new flavor on hand. All That & a Bag of Chips is true to its name—it's potato chip ice cream (yes, we're freaking out, too) made with chocolate chips and a salted fudge swirl.
Per a statement from Enlightened, the unique combination "has that chocolate-covered potato chip flavor," which means I'm going to have trouble not eating the entire pint in one sitting. The limited edition flavor has just 100 calories per serving, so it's fairly guilt-free sweet and salty bliss.
All That & a Bag of Chips will be available through the summer (or while supplies last) at Albertsons, Safeway, and Vons stores on the West Coast (in California, Washington, Oregon, and some parts of Nevada). If you don't live near any of those stores, don't worry—Enlightened will be hosting various giveaways on social media. Also, the potato chip ice cream will be sold on Ice Cream Source. Although shipping is a bit costly, we think it's probably worth it for ice cream that tastes like a chocolate-covered chip.
The sweet and savory treats don't stop there, though. Enlightened also created a Movie Night bar, which is essentially the same as the brand's Movie Night pint, but just on a stick. For those unfamiliar, Movie Night is popcorn ice cream with a caramel swirl and chocolate chips. Enlightened describes the flavor as "movie theater popcorn + Milk Duds, in ice cream form," which we can totalllllly get behind.
The new bars will be a permanent addition to Enlightened's lineup of products (hooray!), and are just 90 calories a piece. The Movie Night bars will launch at Giant Eagle, HEB, and Schnucks first.
