Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish are joining the two-in-one flavor revolution, and suddenly we're all like, Starburst Duos who?? According to Instagram's unofficial food detective @CandyHunting, the latest products are headed to store shelves—like really, really soon.
The Sour Patch Kids Heads include a variety of flavors like pink lemonade blue raspberry, pineapple red berry, and what I'm sure will be a personal favorite—peach orange. While the Swedish Fish Tail combos come in blue raspberry strawberry, watermelon pineapple, and raspberry mango mashups. They didn't just pack all that flavor into the same old version either. The packaging boasts a "2x bigger" size. So, they're upgrading in every way possible.
The heads and tails debut follows the release of Starburst's own highly-anticipated strawberry watermelon and blueberry lemonade duos in February. "Those couples who are so close they become one," the brand joked on Instagram just days before the launch. The $.99 single packs and 14-ounce bags (available for $3.19) both officially hit stores February 19. And while they've no doubt become a new favorite, these Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish might just take the cake—errr, candy.
Details are still pretty scarce on the new 2-in-1 flavors. Though we don't know *exactly* when they're coming, we shouldn't have to wait too long. The caption promises they'll be "out soon." Updates to come!
