It's not every day an exclusive item comes to Taco Bell Canada menus first. So when the Cheetos Crunchwrap Slider returned to menus for the first time since 2006, Taco Bell Canada decided to roll out the red carpet. Except in Canada, it was more fitting to turn the red carpet into a snow-covered Slide-Thru—a full lane on Horseshoe Resort's tubing hill dedicated to giving out free Crunchwraps.

As you can see from the amazing and ridiculous video above, I had the chance to experience the uniquely Canadian Slide-Thru in person and it was just as absurdly fun as you might imagine.

A conveyer belt takes you up the hill—one of the highest tubing hills in Ontario!—where you find a Taco Bell order window that looks just like the one at your local drive-thru. That's pretty much where the similarities end, though.

To pick up your Cheddar Jalapeño Cheetos-stuffed wrap, you place an order at the walk-up window. They have Beefy Cheddar, Spicy Chicken, and Supreme options; I got a Supreme, because this is clearly not the time to mess around. Then, you hop into a bright orange Taco Bell-branded tube and let yourself be pushed down the hill to the Slide-Thru window below.

At the bottom, a very nice Taco Bell employee was ready and waiting to hand off your Crunchwrap. I was pleasantly surprised to find my meal steaming hot and cheese pull ready. To keep food fresh, the Taco Bell team set up a pop-up kitchen next to the hill and had a snowmobile bringing orders from the kitchen to the Slide-Thru window. The goal was a two-minute maximum from order to delivery, Taco Bell Canada's Head of Marketing Veronica Castillo told me, and from what I tasted, they made it happen.

More than 100 resort-goers and bussed-in T. Bell fans were able to experience the spectacle before it closed up shop. The experience was only open for the weekend, but Taco Bell Canada—which has cooked up events like a cheese-dispensing billboard and free blue hair dyeing for the arrival of the Baja Blast—will surely find another way to surprise and delight fans soon.

Canadian friends—you can order the Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders in Taco Bell locations nationwide now for a limited time.
