Update: September 9, 2019 12:30 p.m.
Lay's announced this week that it would be keeping the Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle flavor around permanently. Best of all? There is no need to wait to get 'em. Available right now, you can find this flavor on shelves retailing for about $3.49.
In case you haven't tried it, this flavor is described as a mix of Flamin' Hot (think a Flamin' Hot Cheeto) and dill pickle, which means it has some heat and some tanginess. And since it's sticking around, it can make appearances at all your fall activities. And winter. And spring. And summer. And always. Just look for the bright purple bag.

Last summer, Lay's released eight new potato chip flavors inspired by regional favorites from across the country with its "Taste Of America" program. Now, the beloved potato chip brand is using music to influence its latest release called "Turn Up The Flavor."
Each of the three limited-time flavors are paired with a specific music genre: Pop, Hip-Hop and Rock. To bring the flavors to life, Lay's teamed up with music artist Bebe Rexha to create an original song remixed in the three genres. "I've never done anything like [this]," Bebe told us. The music, which you can listen to above, "aims to evoke the same emotions as the flavors do." Here's the rundown:
Wavy Electric Lime & Sea Salt and Pop Music
According to Lay's, the "tangy and vibrant" flavors of Wavy Electric Lime & Sea Salt are "energetic and upbeat" like pop music, and we have to agree. The chip has a citrusy note to it, and Delish editors even said it tastes like a margarita.
Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Remix and Hip-Hop Music
Flamin' Hot seems to be the "it" flavor when it comes to snacks, and you know we love anything pickle-related here at Delish. Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle Remix is both spicy and fresh, and its cool factor compliments that of hip-hop music.
Kettle Cooked Classic Beer Cheese and Rock Music
There's nothing more classic than rock music, and there's no combination more classic than beer cheese and chips. Kettle Cooked Classic Beer Cheese, which Bebe told us she likes the most, has a bold flavor and is sure to be a fan favorite.
The three new flavors will be available starting February 28 for a limited time only.
