I may not have a birthday to celebrate, a wedding to throw, or a house to warm, but I'm reaching for any excuse to throw a party because Shake Shack is officially launching food trucks. The beloved burger chain—which boasts locations across 25 U.S. states—is making our dreams a reality with its latest catering announcement. Now Shake Shack super fans can rent a mobile version of the restaurant in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and the Atlanta-area.

Whether you're more of a fries and shake kind-of-person or obsessed with the Chick'n Shack, the food truck menu is customizable and includes most of the classics. Pricing varies by occasion, and according to the Shack Truck FAQ page, the cost is based on length of the event and number of attendees. It's also really easy to submit a request. Hop on the website, fill out your name, location, contact information, and company name, if applicable. Just be sure to do it in advance; request submissions are recommended two weeks in advance.

The news comes just months after Shake Shack founder, Danny Meyer, announced new restaurant ventures for D.C. and New York in 2020. In December, Union Square Hospitality Group confirmed that their opening would be "the anchor restaurant" at the exciting Manhattan West development located on 10th Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets, Eater reports.

If you're out of state and anxious for Shake Shack on wheels, it's coming. The website promises that they're "always looking for where to come next!" So, while you might have to sit tight for a bit, it's worth the wait.
