When it comes to Halo Top flavors, there's never been a shortage of creative offerings. You can curb all your pancake, green tea, and oatmeal cookie cravings with a scoop of the brand's low-calorie ice cream. And now they've introduced their latest seasonal sweet: the creamery's new Strawberry Cheesecake pints.
After launching their 50 to 60 calorie Halo Top Pops earlier this month—which originally included the Strawberry Cheesecake variety—the ice cream company decided to extend the flavor to their pint lineup. Despite sounding overly indulgent with doughy cheesecake bites and a graham cracker swirl, the release still only rings in at 360 calories and packs a serious protein punch with 20 grams. You don't even need an excuse to satiate your sweet tooth—there are legit health benefits!
“After developing Strawberry Cheesecake for our Halo Top Pops line, we quickly realized this flavor was going to be an instant hit with our fans and knew we needed to make it into a pint,” Halo Top president and COO, Doug Bouton, said in a statement. “Our fans have been requesting a cheesecake flavor since we started out, so it made sense to create it for both pops and pints!”
While the flavor will likely stick around in the pop collection, its "seasonal" label means the pint-size has an in-store expiration date. Sadly, they'll only be available until May. Guess we'll be buying out our local chains. Can we get enough pints to last us, like, forever??
