Adam Levine is never one to shy away from sharing his feelings, especially during The Voice. (Fans know the Maroon 5 frontman loves showing off his fun-filled friendship with fellow coach Blake Shelton). As season 16 of the hit singing competition approaches, Adam opened up about what he really thinks about new coach John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen.
"John's great. I've known John a long time and [his] mega talent [is] awesome," the 39-year-old said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "[He's the] greatest, easiest guy to get along with on the planet."
Adam even teased that viewers will get to see a zestier side of the "All of Me" artist. "John is a much more extroverted person than people realize 'cause he's so smooth and kind of mellow and serene in a lot of ways, but he went at it during the Blind Auditions," Adam said. "He came out of his shell and he's not that low-key, which I love."
The newbie isn't the only one feeling the love from Adam. The "Sugar" singer also revealed his fondness for John's better half. "I love Chrissy," he gushed about the Cravings cookbook author. "Now, that is a woman that has a very big, extroverted personality and that's kind of why you feel like John is mellower, like they kind of balance each other out, but no. John's got fire. He's got some Chrissy in him."
It's certainly sweet to see the show's stars get along both on-screen and off. But Blake better be careful—it looks like there might be a new bromance brewing!
