KFC continues to do the most. From the same people that brought us the *controversial* Cheetos sandwich comes a new and equally extra menu addition: the Mac 'N Cheese Zinger. If you thought this was some kind of traditional mac dish, you are so, so wrong because the chain loves a little innovation. Sandwiching KFC's classic crispy chicken are two fried mac and cheese buns!
This is a thing now, people!!!! The only problem? It's not available in America—yet. "Spare the bun, coat the mac and cheese, fry it perfectly, add more cheese," the launch commercial begins. "Sandwich it with Zinger fillet, crispy turkey bacon, and lettuce." And while I'm over here in the U.S., wildly jealous over a sandwich, KFC customers in Singapore are freaking out over the release. "The new KFC mac’n’ cheese zinger is tempting," one twitter user wrote. While another added, "is there any 24/7 kfc I want that new mac n cheese zinger[?]" Fair question.
According to CNA Lifestyle, the Zinger is the equivalent of $5.52 in USD, and it's officially available for dine-in or takeout starting today. For an added buck ($6.59), you can score a medium whipped potato and regular Pepsi alongside your Mac 'N Cheese sandwich. While we're unsure if or when U.S. stores will be adding the menu, if you need me I'll be writing to KFC Corporate. Please bring us the Zingers!
