Whether you're rooting for the New England Patriots, the Los Angeles Rams, or could really care less who wins Super Bowl LIII, there is one thing about Sunday that every fan can get excited about: the food, of course!
If snacking is your favorite way to cheer on your team, you're not alone. Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan also likes to watch the big game—and her apparent favorite team, the Patriots—with a delicious recipe or two.
The actress, who shares a son with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, uploaded a photo of her go-to game day comfort food during the AFC Championship when the Patriots won an overtime thriller against the the Kansas City Chiefs.
"Getting ready for some game day chili," she captioned the picture that featured a bowl full of spices. "Let’s go @patriots." The teaser had fans begging for Bridget to reveal the end result. "Ooh, please post the final product, love me some chili!!" someone commented.
Although the model didn't include directions for the dish, we have a pretty good idea of which recipe she might have used. In her Blue Bloods cookbook, inspired by the iconic Reagan family dinners, the author has a recipe for "Two-Alarm Chili." The hearty bowl sounds exactly like what Erin Reagan would serve her family at their Sunday suppers.
Even when football isn't on, Bridget has been busy dishing up even more inspiration to make this weekend—or any other day, for that matter. She recently posted a mouthwatering macaroni and cheese recipe from Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi, too.
We're not sure if Bridget's team will come out on top this weekend, but if she's serving these snacks, she's definitely a winner in our playbook.
