Meghan Markle knows it's all about messaging. Like, literally, she knows the power of a good handwritten note. This morning, during a visit to a charity called One25 in Bristol, she wrote encouraging words for sex workers in the community.
She and Harry were at the charity's kitchen helping to make meals for women when she had a brilliant idea, which you can watch happen in the video below.
The charity aims to help women break out of sex work on the streets, addiction, and other life-controlling issues. Meghan was inspired by a school in Virginia where a teacher wrote positive affirmations to students, and being the resourceful person she is, she asked for a Sharpie to do the same.
The CEO of the charity, Anna Smith, was touched by Meghan's idea. “She listened and heard that we don’t judge, we just offer our service. She totally got it,” she told royal reporter Omid Scobie.
Naturally, Twitter is freaking out about this small act of down-to-earth kindness. Here's what they're saying:
So sweet!
