Sorry guys, the Super Bowl didn't go into overtime, so no free wings this year. Womp womp.

ORIGINAL POST: January 24, 2019 at 12:30 p.m.

Fun fact: Super Bowl Sunday is Buffalo Wild Wings' busiest day of the year. People all over the country cram in to restaurants to watch the game on BWW's dozens of TVs while gouging on chicken wings. It's the American way! According to the company, an astounding 14 million traditional and boneless wings were sold on last year's game day, so it's safe to say February 3 will be a good day for their business.

And lucky for you, whether you spend your Super Bowl at the wing joint or not, you could reap the benefits of their big day—depending on the outcome of the game. If the Rams and Patriots go into overtime come next Sunday, Buffalo Wild Wings will give e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e in America a free, snack-sized order of wings. In case you're not well-versed in BWW portion sizes, that means five wings, all for you.

You can get the wings traditional or boneless style, but you do have to wait a few weeks. The promo will run February 18 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. local time. You don't have to buy anything else to claim an order, but you do have to dine-in (friendly reminder to tip your waiter, even if you're only eating free food!). Also, the promo is good for one free order per customer.
