If you're in the market for new cookware or are shopping for someone who is, you're in luck. Food52 is currently selling Staub's customer-favorite Perfect Pan at a major discount, so now's the time to stock up. The wok-shaped pan is aptly named because it's designed to do a little bit of everything, making it a total steal at its now-low price.
According to Food52, the 4.5 quart pan has a cast-iron bottom and is just as good "at braising, roasting, and simmering as the Staub pots you know and love, but the pan’s wide, angled shape also makes it ideal for large-batch deep frying, and vigorous stir-frying without spilling." It comes with a glass lid as well as a stainless-steel rack that fits inside the pan, perfect for letting food rest when you're done cooking it (especially when frying, since the oil will drip right back into the pan.) Basically, it's ultimate addition to your kitchen.
The pan, which is currently available in three colors: blue, a deep burgundy called grenadine, and graphite and brass. It also comes in matte black, but that color is currently out of stock until February 15. It typically retails for $249, but with the current sale, it's marked down to $179 ($70 savings!) in the blue and grenadine options, and $184 (a $65 discount) in the graphite and brass option. It's unclear how long the sale is going on for, so take advantage of it while you can.
