In case you didn't know, today is Kate Middleton's 37th birthday, and Prince William had the nerve to spend part of it doing charity work (can you believe!? JK). He made up for it by making a really adorable joke, though, so all is forgiven.
When he was at an event for the London Air Ambulance, two children presented him with a handmade card to give to Kate. "Well done for remembering," he said when they gave it to him. "I did remember this morning, so that was okay."
LOL, killed it!! In fairness, there are a lot of people who work for Kate and Will who could have made sure he remembered, but we'll let him take the credit.
In case you wanted to look at how cute this card is, royal reporter Simon Perry tweeted a picture of the inside, and it says "Kate I hope you’ve had the best birthday you could ever imagine.”
The birthday girl's plan for the day was as follows: hang out with William, George, Charlotte and Louis and have a *tea party.* Maybe the most British thing ever.
HBD KMid!! 🎉
