Kate Middleton's 37th birthday is next week Wednesday, and while you take a second to mark that in your calendar and mentally plan a commemorative Instagram Story, please know that she'll be riding solo for part of the day.
Apparently, Prince William has some other plans that day, like going to an official royal engagement in honor of the 30th anniversary London’s Air Ambulance. Um, excuse me?
Kate's face upon finding out, probably:
Can you believe?! The audacity of doing charity work on your wife's birthday! Lol, jk jk. Considering William actually served as an air ambulance pilot, this charity is probably closer to his heart than others, so Kate probably doesn't mind.
Thankfully, the event won't last all day, so it's quite possible (probable) that they have super lit royal plans for later in the evening. Hopefully they include lots of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, because they're adorable and they are a gift to the world.
