Calling all ranch-obsessors! Hidden Valley makes ready-to-eat ranch dips that are a total game-changer for all of your dipping and dressing needs. There is not a chip, pretzel, or fresh veggie that wouldn't taste amazing dipped in Buffalo Ranch, Bacon Ranch, or Classic Ranch dip.
Instagram user @junkfoodmom posted a photo of the three flavors. The caption says, "Can we all say out loud 'It's about time!'", and @junkfoodmom mentions that she thinks Hidden Valley "does it best." According to the caption, the dips were spotted at Walmart. Each dip comes in a 10-ounce plastic container for $2.98 (per Walmart's listing).
Per the description on Walmart's website, the Classic Ranch flavor "has all the Ranch flavor in a plastic tub that is meant for scooping and dipping anytime." The texture is described as "thick and creamy", allowing for ranch fiends to "deliciously scoop, dollop, and savor" your choice of dippable snacks, from potato chips to veggies. The product description even recommends using the dip as a sandwich spread, or to dip your pizza.
Customers seem to be very pleased with the dip. There are 33 reviews on Walmart's website, and the product has 4.6 out of 5 stars. One reviewer says the dip is "perfect for taking to any gathering whether it be a cookout, birthday party, movie night or just for snacking", and enjoyed it with raw veggies, salad, and hot wings. "The taste is bold and flavorful and goes a long way."
Several other reviewers shared the same appreciation for entertaining purposes, saying the dip is "very convenient with no mixing of ingredients or having to find a separate container for transporting or storing leftovers" and makes for an "easy clean up." Based on the reviews for the Classic Ranch dip, it seems like the perfect (and easy) addition to a party spread, along with a veggie tray and some chips!
The Buffalo Ranch is the flavor I'm most interested in trying, because buffalo sauce and ranch is always a good combination. The Buffalo Ranch flavor "is made with buttermilk and brings the taste of classic Ranch with a tangy and addictive cayenne kick to all your favorite foods." Hidden Valley suggests serving the dip as a topping for a loaded baked potato or pasta, in addition to eating with chips and veggies.
A review on Walmart's product page for the Buffalo Ranch flavor says, "It packs such a flavor punch in every bite. Initially it just tastes like ranch, but it is immediately followed by a spicy kick of buffalo. The cool temperature once it has been refrigerated adds the perfect sensation in your mouth, like a dance party!"
The Bacon Ranch flavor received positive feedback as well, from Walmart customers. The "applewood bacon" flavor "adds a smokey and salty tang to the original ranch flavor," according to one five-star review.
