The geniuses behind The Great Starbucks Cake of Earlier in 2018 are back, this time with a cake inspired not inspired by your favorite coffee chain, but instead by Prosecco. Yes, the entire theme behind this masterpiece (which was once again created by Caked Up Café's 18-year-old Francesca Byrnes) (don't @ us, she didn't drink any in the process of making this cake) was "bubbly."

Francesca went with a pretty pink palette, choosing to cover the vanilla cake with progressively lighter layers of pink buttercream. She lined the bottom tier with rosettes, or rose-shaped icing patterns made with a piping bag. She made sure those were perfectly in place before fastening on a set of fondant Champagne glasses.

From there, a second tier is added and covered with fondant bubbles. Those are held onto the cake with more buttercream and brushed with pearl dust. Francesca then blows glitter onto the entire cake to ensure it's as sparkly as possible.

Did you think we were done? We most certainly are not. There is still an entire bottle of Prosecco to be added! But fear not—all it takes is a bit more buttercream to sturdy it all up and voilà.
