Girl Scout Cookie season is just around the corner, and Dunkin' is offering us a way to enjoy a taste of the iconic cookies before January. At the end of December, you can begin ordering Dunkin's Girl Scout Cookie-inspired coffees for a sweet treat that may make you nostalgic for your own Girl Scout days (I didn't make it past "Brownies").
Dunkin', under a licensing agreement with Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is bringing back Coconut Caramel and Thin Mints coffee flavors, and introducing the Trefoils shortbread flavor. This season's new flavor "brings the sweet and buttery flavor of the traditional shortbread cookie to Dunkin' coffee," per a press release.
The Thin Mints coffee flavor includes the cookie's "cool mint and decadent chocolate" combination, and the Coconut Caramel brings the "taste of toasted coconut together with creamy caramel." Each flavor will be available in Dunkin's full lineup of hot and iced coffees, espresso drinks, frozen coffee, and frozen chocolate.
On weekends in February, you'll be able to pick up donuts and cookies at select Dunkin' locations. "Dunkin' franchisees at select locations across the country will once again welcome girl entrepreneurs, as local troops will be invited to sell Girl Scout Cookies at Dunkin' restaurants." In 2018, more than 12,000 Girl Scouts sold cookies at Dunkin'.
The Girl Scout Cookies coffee flavors will be available at Dunkin' through the beginning of spring 2019, so you have plenty of time to get your sippable Thin Mint or Trefoil fix!
