Christina El Moussa called out In Touch magazine Tuesday for a story the tabloid ran about an alleged feud between her and fellow HGTV star Joanna Gaines.

"What a load of Bulls--t," El Moussa captioned a photo of the article. "I’ve never commented on a tabloid EVER (and have swallowed a load of s--t from these tabloids). #intouchmagazine this is disgusting."

The Flip or Flop star then shared how she is against women being pinned against one another, writing, "I have always been a huge supporter of female entrepreneurs... #girlboss is my motto. Nothing but respect for @joannagaines ♥️ #goodvibesonly."

Gaines, who starred on five seasons of Fixer Upper with her husband, Chip, has not commented on the reports. However, several of El Moussa's followers questioned how the magazine could get away with such fake stories.

One user wrote, "Why does the 'so-and-so versus so-and-so' narrative have to exist like this? Why does only one person get to be the winner in these scenarios? I’m pretty sure there’s room for lots of successful people (and in particular, WOMEN) at the top."

"Good for you for not letting that slide!" another told El Moussa. "Real women lift each other up!"

The article, published in a recent print issue of In Touch, had the headline, "HGTV's Joanna and Christina: It's War." The story alleged that "rival design star" El Moussa feels like "talented, likable Joanna is stealing her thunder." The magazine also quoted an anonymous source that reportedly stood by the claims.

Celebrities have pushed back on In Touch's reporting before. In 2016, Blake Shelton filed a defamation lawsuit against the publication for a 2015 cover story that claimed Shelton had a drinking problem, USA Today reports. The case eventually settled.
